In Ghost Party, my directorial debut with Dacha, audiences found themselves in an old restaurant filled with ghosts trapped in an endless loop, reliving the same 10 minutes of a fateful party long ago. As the evening – by watching the loop, as well as freely interacting with and speaking to the ghosts – they learned they might be able to help them with their unfinished business.
Audiences were free to roam where they pleased in the building, talk to actors as they wished, and to team up with friends and strangers to solve the evening’s many puzzles. Who was saved and how was different every night.
